Just arrived yesterday, and I haven't used it yet, but the balance is perfect for me, especially considering the size of the knife (5" blade, 10" oal).
Starting the sheath build tonight, and hopefully I'll be testing it this weekend in the woods.
Thanks Terry! I've been close to pulling the trigger on a few different 5" and 6" blade knives while waiting for this one, glad I didn't because I'd be selling them if I had.
Oh.. have you given this one a name yet?
Pics! (Fast and dirty cell phone pics, sorry)

I have not given it a name yet except model 1.
Thanks man for waiting on me through the rough summer I've had. Again I appreciate your patience and apologize for all the delay.

    Stop. No worries, friend.
Model 1... I like it. Simple, yet signifies it's standing in the knife world.

When I read the title I was thinking runway model but in a whole lot of ways this is better and I like its curves. :)

I saw this in the Knife Pics thread and thought Wow! It's really nice and you're lucky to have it. I could really dig a knife like that brother. So if you decide she's too much I'd be glad to take good care of her.

    ~Enjoy

Very nice, love that it has a 5" handle, us guys with gorilla hands are often overlooked in the semi-custom knife production market

I hear ya. This one feels perfect regardless of what grip I use. I think Terry's got a real winner in this model.
Oh, regarding custom vs semi-custom, this one is 100% pure custom, make no mistake. Not only did I spec out the steel, pommel, and grind, I also sent Terry the micarta that I wanted on it. Doesn't get any more custom than that!
I honestly think that once a few more of these get out in the wild their popularity is going to catch fire.
