I've been talking with a few different people and companies to contract out a portion of my waxed canvas work. Today i met with a local seamstress with over 27 years experience! We spent hours going over about a half dozen product ideas i have and Im happy to say i am bringing her onboard. Over the next month or so I will have a host of new products being released including larger gear bags, duffels, pouches, and other accessories merging 10 ounce waxed canvas, leather and solid brass hardware. I am still undecided on a name for this line of gear…perhaps when the first items are ready a little contest with a giveaway will be in order!

First projects will be a "weekender" style roll-top adventure duffel and sets of smaller gear pouches for organizing your pack.

Stay tuned and as always i appreciate everyones support.

A 42" padded waxed canvas rifle case might be a thought...external pockets for ammo, tools, etc., and non marring interior padding with tie down straps to secure the rifle in place; color you ask, we'll a true khaki green canvas with triangular leather corner accents.:42:

For your rifle slings, make sure you include the swivels, sewn in, and USA made such as Grovtek.

Lastly, a 1" sling is perfect for most rifles, and border stitching just adds the cherry on top.

Here's a suggestion for a name for this new line, Base Camp Cotton & Leather Goods. I have many more, but I'll just start with this one.

The pouch "system" I have drawn out is similar but also with a modular component. You'll see :)

I've tossed around the idea of using the term "base-camp" since my outdoor background started with climbing in the Cascades as a kid. Keep the ideas comin, thanks!

Over two dozen bucksaw pouches finished up today. Just need to add a leather tie and small leather logo patch. Will have them added to the website tomorrow sometime.

The Adventure Duffel prototype turned out ok..making a few changes for the final version. Wont be ready until next week unfortunately. Stay tuned!
