Actually, I think I gave @Jean the wrong answer yesterday. You can splice the Series IV Water Filtration System into the Bag-to-Bag system with the included fittings in that Series IV system. BUT the replacement filter can't be used with the housing on the Bag-to-Bag system.

The Red Line system we sell is Series IV, and the Bag-to-Bag system we have in stock is Series II. If you could find a Red Line Series II replacement filter, I think that would work with the Bag to Bag system.

    Thanks for the questions!

They're low-emitting. The engineer at Cejay says, "You could say 1-5 lumen but realistically those numbers are kind of junk. The correct answer is about 90mw." Battery life is approx. 8 hours continuous on to 50% brightness. These aren't designed as alternatives to the big Streamlight Sidewinder type lights. The Mk10 is a task light, ideal for use in a cockpit or passenger seat of a vehicle. The SERE70 is a brighter alternative to a chemlight, although it does a nice job illuminating small spaces and can also be used as a task light with the shroud in place. Think of the SERE 70 as a pocket knife, and a bright light like the Sidewinder as an axe. Different tools for different tasks.

All Ranger Bands will hopefully be back in stock early this week. The factory has been scrambling to catch up after the holidays. Am hoping for tomorrow or Tuesday for restock.

Cool, thanks. I'll keep a check on the bands and order when they arrive. I'll snag the SERE70 also, putting a kit together for the hollow stocked Ruger American Rimfire.

I hope you'll share pics of that kit. We've been thinking about putting together a little kit to go in the Magpul Backpacker stock for the 10/22 TD. I love to see what folks include in these.

SAR V3 Kit Bag - Hill People Gear

This is one of the coolest things we've added in a long time. Remember the red Search and Rescue Kit Bag that was a collaboration between HPG and the RAT Staff? Well we waaaaaay overcommitted to that bag. Today it's available in Foliage, Coyote, and Multicam. Tomorrow I think it will be available in Manatee/Black, and soon we'll have Ranger Green and Red back in stock.

    Silky Pocketboy Curve Professional 130mm
This little folding saw is an excellent addition to your survival kit. It makes for faster shelter construction, litter construction, and firewood processing. We added the 130mm model (5 in.) because its compact size means it stows easily in packs, kit bags, etc.

The SERE 70 is a really cool light. If I had a pocket clip for it, it would probably be my EDC light.

    Survival Backpack, v1 - 5col Survival Supply
We spent a long time trying to come up with a ruggedly built, American-made Backpack for under $100. This backpack is intended for use as a vehicle Go-Bag (or Get-Home Pack), but it also works well as a daypack, or for school, work, etc. I carried one of these as a day pack for a while before selling a batch to one of our aviation clients. I like the pack, they like the pack, and now it's officially available from 5col Survival Supply.

Don't forget the forum discount code is BCUSA. That will get you 5% off your total order on our site!

Micropur MP1 Water Purification Tablets - Katadyn
Chlorine Dioxide water treatment tablets from Katadyn, available in 20 or 30 packs. The CDC says that Chlorine Dioxide is the best backcountry water treatment, slightly ahead of regular chlorine or iodine due to its efficacy against cryptosporidium.

Awesome to have them wrapped as opposed to a bottle. Great for survival kits or maybe multiple car kits. I had trouble finding them like that a few years ago, gave up and just bought the bottle.

Also hard to find small pairs of latex gloves individually wrapped for first aid kits. The more compact the better.

Those little CPR kits will usually have a thin pair of latex or nitrile gloves, and come in a little cordura pouch. I have some in the shop that are even smaller than the one pictured below. They usually cost less than $5 for the whole shebang.

I wish there were some that were in a very small bag, and sterile. That way you could put two or four in a bag or kit. Sometimes I just grab a pair to handle something nasty, especially if away from home or a sink, or whatever. I use them far less for first aid than anything else.
I make my own in small bags, but then they aren't sterile. They don't always stay airtight either and if not rolled and put in a small space some tiny bags gain air or balloon.

I agree, and have searched for sterile ones before. So far I haven't found them. It seems like something a company like Nasco would produce. They make Whirl-Pak bags, and have the capacity for industrial sterilization.

Like a 2"x2" or even 3"x3' would be awesome, and if they were flat and air tight 3x4 wouldn't be bad. I know they mostly make them for doctors and kits like you showed, but imo they are missing a market for them, especially in self made or refilling kits.

I'd even like to see some thicker nitrile glove packets like this!

Sorry I sidetracked your thread, didn't mean to!

    Hiker Water Filter - Katadyn
This is an easy to use pump-style water filter for use with water bottles and reservoirs that have Nalgene or USGS Canteen style mouths. My family has used this filter for a long time, and I'm glad to offer it for sale in our store, now.

You might be able to put a pocket clip on one. Larger pens have slip on clips that might work.
