So I posted this on the DIY forum as well but I thought y’all might like this idea. I’m hoping someone might take the idea and make it better. I’m no expert with leather work, it something I started recently. While not perfect it works.

I like belt clips for sheaths as I don’t always wear belts and some of my pants have built in belts.[IMG]

The goal was to build a sheath that be worn both vertically and horizontally. After looking around for one, I didn’t see any out there.

I realized snaps could be the answer

So let me know what you think about the concept. Thanks

I'd be a little leary of snaps.....but I'd use chicago screws.....sure takes more time to make the change but the screws would be super secure.

    HUGE FAN of horizontal carry

it don't poke me in the bottom rib

and it don't get caught up in a seat belt

i know i've posted these pics before butt they may help someone folowing this thread

here'z a water buffalo sheath i picked up @ a Dallas Safari Club event quite a few years ago(not a fan of the Velcro butt it hasn't allowed a knife to escape yet)
