Thank you. I never had to worry about lines. I just went fishing. 20 (or a bit more) years later the fishing section looks like Disney World.

I don't have any particular brand loyalty :22:

I normally just buy whatever I need & hopefully ..Its on " SALE " :3:

My only general rule of thumb, with allll of my fishing " Rods & Reels ".

Monofilament Main Lines wieghts: Mono ; 4 lbs - 50 lbs

Braids Main lines: 20 lbs - 150 lbs.

    Leaders - Tippets: Mono - Flurocarbon ( Vanish ): 2 / 4 / 6 / 8 / 10 / 15 / 20 / 30 / 40 / 50lbs.

The lighter " Braid Lines " ( - 20 lbs ) are very light / very thin diameter, & VERY prone to wind knots, which are impossible to untangle :56:

Just an FYI: For anyone interested ...?

Since this is a " Vendor / For Sale " thread .. I think it would be more appropriate, to post alllll future Riggings info, for both " YO-YO & Hobo Reel " over on the Rigging thread, started by HannahT.

That explains your choosing such a high weight braided line, was wondering why..

Monofilament gets very " STIFF " ( Memory Coils ) after about 20+ lbs, which makes it harder to cast.

The " YOYO Reels " larger diameter, handles the heavier " MONO " better, than the smaller diameter " Hobo Reels ".

    i.E.:
Heres a very basic explanation on the difference between " Braid vs Mono ". The braid is much more supple & thinner in Diameter than Mono: 150 lbs Braid is equal to 30 lbs Mono Diam / 80 lbs Braid is equal to 17 lbs Mono Diam.

Cherry YoYo Reel just finished for @trapper04
This one (and any future ones) will be $25 shipped if you'd still like to have it.

By the time I pay for shipping materials, the shipping label, PP fees...etc there's not much left of $25 for at least a couple hours work so it's just hard to do any custom craft for less than that.
