last year i did a give away with some old files i got from a scrap bin found on this thread. one of the recipients turns out to be a very talented knife maker who literally turned trash into a work of art and a very usable tool the old files can be seen on the GAW thread which i hyperlinked. the end result of what was junk given to someone with talent and very generously returned to me is now one of my treasures. i breifly touched one of these knives in a previous trip report but something was nagging me saying i didn't do the knife or the maker justice. so i'm doing this thread now he did an amazing job of showing the hamon line, he said it was an experiment and his 1st time doing it from learning how to do it in a class he took i would just like to give a big personal thank you to @Zaveral who is an outstanding gentleman, a truly talent and great knife maker and a very kind person!
