Josh got here for a visit a couple weeks ago. We started out with some fishing. We got about 30 fish in the boat that day. It was a great time.

We spent some time hanging out at the farm. It took Purdy and Martha some time, but they got along great.

We spent a little time at the future brewery at the farm.

Josh came along as we did out daily thing as well.

We went turkey scouting and Josh came along and did some calling. Combine between Josh and myself we scouted for and/or called in 9 killed birds while he was here.

We decided to make an American Puukko for Josh. Camel Bone, Copper, Brown G10, forged 80crv2 with an 1/8" single sided fuller.

Looks like a great time, you're a pretty good host. Hunting, fishing, farming, beer drinking and knife making! Can I spend the night at Matt's house?

Looks like a great time guys! Thanks for the fine photos and story. Having just lost a 40 year friend, it's easy to recognize precious times together. Here's to more of them!

I seriously want to sell my house in New Mexico and buy a few acres and a fixer upper in the Hudson Valley.

    This post fuels that fire.

    You sure can!

It's beautiful out here. The politcal climate leaves a lot to be desired, yas does the taxation, and cost of living. But the hunting and fishing is top notch, and the land is beautiful.
