This one isn't mine, but I saw it today and thought I should share it. Pretty neat!

Hi Guys. I figure this group is a good place for my first post outside the intro thread. Opinels have been fixtures in my life both indoors and outdoors since childhood. Here are 2 of my favourites, both of which were purchased, at different times, near our property in Normandy, France - a horn handled No.8, and a Bruno Chaperon No.8.
Wow.......just beautiful @Mocotaugan!
Thanks. My father has a matching horn-handled slimline which is even better looking. I wouldn't be able to afford either one of these nowadays - the exchange rate used to be much more in my favour!
Some of the other less common ones from years of collecting. Top to bottom Chaperons x2, ebony, oak, bubinga and olive (handle still smells like olive oil). Right = laminate slimline. Left = 'shroom knife.
Two of my three Opinel knives. Top is a #8 Carbone with a modified drop point and removing the hump on the top of the grip. Bottom is an older #6 Inox that didn't have the lock to keep it closed. So I cut one in to avoid poking my leg. I also have an older #6 Carbone, but it is out in kitchen box the squaredrop trailer, which is all wrapped up for the winter.
Ooohh, I like that horn handle.
No. 6. A perfect pocket knife.
My anniversary present this year from my wife. A #8 Inox with the olive wood handle.
#6, my fave
My #6 and friends:
I made zucchini chips for my wife tuning a No. 7 inox.
I saw this youtube video from @NWPrimate reminds me of the old boy scout handbooks. I need to try this with my opinel.
GOD Bless you and your families
