Just placed an order for a Classic for my girlfriend! Ivory paper and cinnamon liners, left hand dangler sheath (she's a lefty) in chestnut with matching fire steel and fire steel loop. She has small hands so they agreed to make her handles smaller, a 3/5 set.
I really hope she likes it! I want her to get involved with me doing the BC thing, so I hope this will motivate her!
She has expressed interest , maybe this will push that along. I know it would get me excited!
Pics to follow on arrival which may be a few weeks.

My wife could care less about knives and he always asks if she can use it and carry it :)

Me: "Babe, I'm making 'X', do you want me to make you some?"
Wife: "No thank you, I'm good."
    Me: Sit down to eat
Wife: "Ooh, that smells good, can I have some of yours?"
    Me: :/

Haha, good point. Mine would likely do the same!

At first I was thinking that was a big purchase for someone who may or may not end up sticking with Bushcrafting.. Then I saw @Keyser Söze 's post and got some great ideas for new purchases for my wife!! :D

Absolutley! She's a leftie though, so I ordered her a left hand draw sheath. Yet it will still fit my classic's sheath so it's all good either way.
I expect she will use it though and looking forward to it.

"what's yours, is mine" she always says while reaching in to take a huge bite.
    Nice blade and kit!

Very cool. I recently traded a blade I don't use for a Mora Companion for my wife. Inexpensive, yes, but for her first fixed blade to carry in the woods while we're hiking, I was happy with the trade. Now to get her using it...

Regarding sheaths, I always order right handed sheaths (blade edge and firesteel loop facing REAR when worn on the right hip) but wear them on my left so edge and loop face forward. This puts the blade edge forward if I draw the blade defensively. Also I tend to hike with a pistol or revolver on my right hip, so there's that.

Her knife was on the shipping table earlier today, and I noticed it had our usual 4.5/5 for a Classic. So I grabbed it and re-shaped it to a nice 3.5/5, it should be right on the money. Ivory paper polishes out like crazy, and has a unique feel and look. I'm sure she'll enjoy it. Thanks for your support.

    @Adventure Sworn
That's awesome Cody, glad you caught that!!
She has been so looking forward to this and I'm excited too! This was her birthday present which was May 11. So it's late for a present but hopefully it will be worth the wait!

Thanks for the personal touch here, means a lot to me. I know sometimes things don't go as planned and I understand that sometimes customers have cause to be upset. I'm just glad that you guys always step up and try to make things right.
Your work is second to none that I've seen, and I am unabashadly a huge fan of your work.
I currently own five of your knives and will have no less than seven within a few days plus the one the GF will have. And the bucksaw as well.
I look forward to the day I can order a custom directly from you!

Anyways, you guys keep doing the great work that you do and may God Bless you all.

That's awesome brother, I should have number three showing up in a couple weeks. You should take a family photo of all seven when it arrives.

Agreed. Well done on both fronts, sir. I'm working on getting my wife to use a Mora Companion. Once she does that well, I'll consider upgrading her.

Thanks guys, and she's excited about it. Worth the wait. The scales have an off white color that makes them look antique-ish, very cool.
