Would love to pick up a used woodlander. I am not rich enough to buy new and pay the shipping to the US.

Looking for something in Ironwood, or really any wood scales. Want to see if there is something that screams "BUY ME"

Good luck finding one :) You could also email Ben and see if he plans on making any "elementary" woodlanders for sale, or he could probably make one to order. Same blade and contoured handle, just less exotic handle materials and no liners. Significantly cheaper. I have one in natural micarta as my main user. Couldn't be happier.

PS Ben's instagram will give you a heart attack, best to stay away.

I buy knives from Europe all the time, shipping is often less than it is from inside the US. But yes, they're still pricey. I'm still looking forward to getting my first one as soon as I see one come up.

Nice pickup, @Swamp Pirate! I was eyeing that one this morning. Really like the look of the natural canvas. And the kydex dangler sheath with thumb ramp is a great carry system. Very light and allows very free movement. You won't even know it's there.

I think we may be knife buddies now. Here's mine in brown micarta. Using this knife is a dream.

I forgot to mention that I am coping @SonsOfLiberty and having a bible verse etched on the side. That way no matter where the knife ends up so will his glory!

Teach a kid to love the outdoors using that knife and you'll be spreading plenty of good :) "All is vanity," it may be said, but it completely depends on what you do with your possessions.

I agree but a healthy reminder when you look down at your knife is always a good thing:

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." -Joshua 1:9

For sure - and to clarify in case my post was ambiguous, I was in no way criticizing the decision to inscribe a bible verse that has personal meaning to you on the knife. I think that's awesome. All I meant to say was that even though the knives are expensive and probably strike a lot of people as unnecessary toys for grown ups, we can still do a lot of good with the possessions that we have :dblthumb: If we use them to bring joy and peace to our own lives and to those of our friends and loved ones, then we are doing a lot of good. And that ought to constitute spreading glory by anyone's definition!
