    Hello all,

No pictures in this thread but had an awesome outing with the family and a couple of good friends. My buddy owns a local ranch and invited my family over for lunch. After lunch we walked along a road on his property and let my 1.5 year old son stretch his legs. He is doing very well for his age and can go about 0.5-0.75 miles before he needs to be picked up.

Looking forward to camping on the property later this year but for now my son was able to discover his love of throwing rocks in a creek, watching the cattle and horses, and playing on the ranch equipment. My son is very comfortable in the outdoors and will talk about "outside" all day long. Looking forward to future backpacking trips.

    Thank you for looking,

    Coyote

That's great. My daughter will be 2 in July, she loves an "out, walk?" and a good "big, walk?".

Thank you all for the kind words.
The taking is so much fun and it is awesome to see the wonder in the world. Sounds like you are leading her down a good path too :)

That's awesome!! Most kids seem to have a natural love of the outdoors. Way to nurture that!! I look forward to hearing about more of your adventures together!
