Just saw what appears to be a Pak -Cook stove. Made in Taiwan, Svea 123 clone. I did a search on the forum without any luck. Does anybody have any experience with these. It was at a flea market close to the house so I can go back tomorrow.
Doesn't smell of gas and doesn't appear to have been used. I'm trying to decide if I should go back.

LOL, I cooked my lunch on one today. They are fantastic stoves. @AngryDaddyBird is the local stove guru and he has made some mods to the one I bought from him. He added some wicking material under the bell to hold the preheat fuel. I use alcohol for preheat fuel to cut down on soot. I would recommend this stove and have no regrets in buying it.

I really appreciate the info @DKR and. @Vilke . They were asking $20.00 for it. It didn't sound like alot but if it was junk...

I don't think anybody will see it before I get back. If they do I guess it's my loss.

Heck $20 was a steal! Not much to these stoves. If it doesn’t leak, it should work with a little TLC. Make sure to read up how to light them as they are completely different than the Coleman we are all used to using here in the US. You will be very happy with it. It can really throw a flame and still simmers well.

There is a post somewhere on a great cook set the the stove will nest in. Amazon has them for about $18 and you would swear it was made for it. Search “Chihee bush pot”. It is a 1L pot with lid. Add a wire handled Wally World metal coffee cup and it all nests perfectly. It has been my go to for a while now.
