IMG_2975.JPG scored these two HSGI cobra riggers belts today at a pawn shop for 30.00 bucks. Not 30.00 bucks each which would have been awesome in it's self but both for 30.00. Talk about an awesome day.

See, its scores like this that keep me going back to pawn shops despite 90% of the items being marked higher then retail. Good haul!

Very good deal! My best pawn shop score was two 1 lb. bars of .999% silver for $225 total when silver value was about $25/oz. Paid under $10 an ounce for them. Kept one bar and sold the other to a coin dealer for $300. :D

With me it's about being a loyal customer. While I was there a guy brought in a bunch of. Original WWII gear BAR belts with the metal but stock cup for shooting from the hip. I know several WWII collectors so I was able to call the guys and probably help them sell most of the stuff. In turn they probably cut me a better deal than most. The big thing is knowing the product what it cost and what it's worth. Because there is a difference.

And at today's spot price, even $10 less than what it was then, you're still in the black!

I 've never had any luck with pawn shops. Mostly overpriced junk here.

Usually, absolutely. I did score the exact single-stack 9mm pistol I wanted, with the nickel plated slide and a kydex holster for about 30% less than new. That and a 33 gallon Craftsman air compressor were probably my two best buys at a pawn shop.

Hardware on those is worth more than that.

Well I have been very blessed dealing with the pawn shop o frequent. I think a big part of it is the owner is a very devout man.
