Hey guys, wanted to share my experience working with Plainsmen Knives (@08H3).
Chris contacted me after seeing one of my post regarding a certain knife shape I was looking for. We spoke back and forth a bit on PM and I felt confident he was the guy I should work with to bring my idea to life. To say his communication is good would be an understatement. He would literally text me with pictures of the entire process. It was awesome to see it all come together.
Halfway though the project, which took less than a week til it was at my door, I asked for another project. Rehandle a Dozier that I enjoyed using but disliked the slippery g10 handle. No problem. Sent the knife off and now was getting more daily pics of progress. I think the rehandle took him 1 day. It feels amazing and fits right back in its original kydex. He also made a kydex sheath for my new knife which fits beautifully.
He’s a class act, excellent communicator, and a hell of a talented blade smith. His prices are also very fair, buy with confidence guys. And thanks Chris!

@08H3 it's a good dude for sure! He's on my short list of makers I need to get a knife from.

    Thanks for the write up!
