So, I have a 45-60 minute commute, looking for some recommendations on podcasts. Dug through some older posts, but didn't find too many. What are you listening to?

I found some Paul Kirtley stuff, Meateater, Trial by Fire, and Rewild Yourself.

    EDIT:

Looking for bushcraft and survival related podcasts, nothing else. I appreciate the comments, but not looking for other topics currently. Have a few others I enjoy, but just looking for bushcraft specific right now.

I listen to Casefile, the NoSleep Podcast, and Dan Carlin’s Hardcore History. Casefile explores various violent crime cases, NoSleep is just a bunch of horror stories, and Hardcore History is an extremely in-depth look into various bits of history.

Hardcore History is incredible. I also like Behind the Bastards, Last Podcast on the Left, Cocaine & Rhinestones (country music history cast), Disgraceland (rock history/true crime), The Dollop, and Swindled.

I was actually looking for bushcraft related content. I have a few others I listen to, mainly around firearms and survival, fishing, etc. I will update my first post.

This is War, American History Tellars are the 2 I listen to the most.on This is War they have a veteran come on and tell about there time in the service, it’s raw, informative, and often heartbreaking stuff. They often talk about the mental health issues they had after service and it’s just really eye opening stuff. American history tellars is just really good history stuff.

Great podcast recommendations here. I like Hardcare History as well.

I'm not sure about Bushcraft podcast. I feel that this an activity we do, discuss, and sometimes watch. I didn't know survival and bushcraft podcase exist.

Some of the joe Rogan can be listened to for this genre.

He has had some hunters, wildlife biologists, nature guys and some adventure guys on there

You’ll have to sort through them to find them but a quick google search will give you the episode numbers you can find

Behind the blade podcast about knives.
    Tangentially related to bushcraft.
Unfortunately, they haven't been keeping up regular episodes.

+1 Survival podcast with jack spirko

I actually just started a podcast around the topic of nature and personal wellness with a focus on Bushcraft and outdoor skills. I'm pretty proud of it and am excited to see where it goes. Feel free to check it out on Apple Podcast, Spotify, Stitcher, and many other places.

I see Paul Kirtly mentioned. That was my first thoughts.

Non-bushcrafting, I really like Stay Tuned with Preet.

Art of Manliness has some things of this sort fairly often. Plus a lot of stuff on just some of the principles I think a lot of members here appreciate of days gone by and living "right" in a sense. A good mix of lots of things and informative titles and summaries that help you select the episodes of interest to you.

I listen to heaps of podcasts- here are my recommendation:
This one would be my all time favourite podcast network (available on all podcast platforms)

    PARCAST

They’ve got heaps of different individual shows including:
    Survival
    Hostage
    Kingpins
    The Dark Side Of...
    Unsolved Murders
    Haunted
    Crimes of Passion
    Medical Mysteries
    Unexplained Mysteries
    Conspiracy Theories
    Extraterrestrial
    Cults

And lots more. They’re really high quality- well done podcasts. I highly recommend trying them out.

    There than Parcast, there is
    Guys talk Knives (SMKW)
Behind the Blade (founder of Bark River)
    Art of Manliness
    Jordan Peterson
    Case Closed.

    They’re all great podcasts.
Edit: whoops! Just saw that you’re only interested in Bushcraft related shows.
Survival, Behind the Blade, Legitimus, Axe Hounds, Art Of Manliness, and Guys Talk Knives all fall under this.

I've been listening to "Jack Mountain Bushcraft" for a couple of weeks. Podcast by a Maine guide that runs a bushcraft/canoe/survival school in Maine. So far I enjoy it.

Is this one only available on a certain podcast app? I looked for it on Podcast Addict and couldn't find it.
