They make these clip thingys that go on spydercos, keeps them attached to your pocket.
Then where do your Leatherman and flashlight go?
Lone Wolf Harsey T3
To keep the post legal.
Well, I would leave the learherman in a drawer where it belongs. Guess you could put it in your boot or an ankle holster.
Get a Skineth (sp) for leatherman and light.
@squishware check this out.
I hear ya. If I would have known that they were going to be discontinued I would have grabbed a second one.
The good news is that the new Ritter that Hogue is putting out looks like a worthy replacement. Hopefully the aftermarket scale folks will jump on board.
I have been back pocket carrying 30 years and about 10 PERFECTING my EDC. If you do not carry a Leatherman or a Light I suggest you worry about YOUR EDC first and QUICK.
I have been aware of Skinth for around 10 years. I used to frequent the EDC forum. He makes good stuff but boxes on my belt get caught on everything as I sprint through life.
Stretch 2 (exploded view)
So you saw the wink and smile emoji? I don't care what you carry honestly I was giving you a hard time, firstly and quickly.
I was on edcf for a for years too until it fell apart, thats where I learned about the skinth.
Ps, I always carry a light.
And wheres your knife mr perfection? <-- You see it this time?
Cutlery Shoppe Exclusive (Para 3) & discontinued (Firefly).
Back Pocket as always. I do not emoji, ever.
You must have quite the collection! You've got great taste in blades, that's for sure.
Thank you for the kind words @Nic7364 After years of owning knives, I have Finally figured out what I like & don’t like.
Prior, It’s always been a love/hate relationship with certain knives.
I have the knife bug bad, as I like fixed blades as well as folders & more recently, traditional slips.
So there’s always a knife dangling right in front of me that is wanting a good home!
The never ending knife cycle! Lol.
Southard W/ Lightning Strike Carbon Fiber. Scale by (Smock Knives).
Here’s a random pic! This was the temp this evening at about 5:30pm.
What’s worse than this? 109*-111* degree temps this weekend!
It will be triple digit temps most likely for the next 20-30 days in a row!
Leave a knife on the ground for x30 minutes and you will burn your hand picking it up. The steel on the spine of the handle will be so hot, it will bite you!
Drove to Portland OR. Brought a single folder.
I do have a fixed with me for fishing. My Spyderco Salt thing. Praying I get to run it thru a halibut.
Just snagged this one. I wouldn't call it razor sharp like some reviews do. It's usable. Nice snap to each piece. Not a bad take on a classic design.
One of these 3. The kershaw thermite I carry when a cheaper more destructible knife that will be used a lot is necessary...they are about $25 I have replaced it a few times. Gave one away. Another got a chipped blade. ZT is most often carried and I take pretty good care of it because they are expensive! The BK14 I carry around my neck under a shirt when I have to wear a suit or don't have good pockets.
I actually really like the plastic handles that Spyderco uses for the Delica, Endura, Native, etc.
I chose this version of the Native because I want to try out the Lc200 steel and more so because of the color.
Carried one of these 3 everyday over the last 20~ years.
Carried my small chapparal on the river.
cek, it's been a long time since I've seen one of the old OX Enterprise "Black Knives." Good to see they are still being used!
What's the name of that torch?
I don't really have a concrete edc knife, I tend to rotate a lot lol
Dang that is the biggest collection I've ever seen.
those are just my folders, I also have quite a few fixed blades and axes and the bills to go along with them lol
Usually one of these 2 well worn Benchmade Axis folders.
710 or the AFCK.
^^^ those are two epic and timeless designs right there. I've been a fan of the AFCK for literally decades.
You need a BIGGER knife !
Beautiful CR knife!!
Posted this in the knives forum, but here as well for your viewing pleasure. Hot out of the box.
Awesomeness. If you have time I'd love to see a review of that one.
Received this Case Barlow CV in the mail today so I just had to give it some pocket time to finish out the day.
This thing is an absolute beast
Got this from M. Hatfield a little while back. I almost felt as if I was betraying my Benchmade but started carrying it since then.
He mentioned he had sharpened it and it did indeed seem like a fine edge. Today I tried splitting a hair, and it did it fairly easily. Sorry for the poor pic, my phone doesn't do macro:
My beloved ZT
Carrying these today.
Knife is a- Zero Tolerance 808.
* Side Note:
When I was taking this pic a few minutes ago, my 17 year old son walked up behind me & said:
“Geez Dad, all you need now is a Pocket Protector”! Lol!
I will admit, he did burn me pretty good! Dang Kid! Lol!!
How many knives do you have exactly?!
I'm so glad it has been working out for you. What can I say? I love a sharp knife!
Foul! 5 minutes in the penalty box.
Nothing good ever comes from an honest answer to this question.
Great knife, very happy with it. Thanks
Spyderco Sage 1 when I'm carrying a folder on my own time, either a Case Peanut or Mini Champ at work.
Benchmade in right pocket, SAK in left pocket
Way to many than I should admit, lol.
I don’t know if I would be happy or depressed to know that exact number lol!
Benchmade 915 Triage
Rough rider carbon utility knife and an old kabar Barlow with reprofiled blades I use as a whittler .
Sage 1 is a great knife.
