Putting the batwing cousin’s, hiking hunter, through its paces and I would argue these two models “could” give my matijila a little rest from the knife rotation. The ergos and thinner blade alone are just outstanding- this design like the Apache seemingly has not gained traction or the merit each deserve.

Whittling a chess SET. Not an original idea (most of mine arent) but still a good way to learn and have fun. Used a line up of small knives (primarily neck knives) and all worked well. However, the "winner" was el chapo for its point, thinner but strong full-tang blade and amazing ergos. The SET whittler is an amazing performer and would have been my first choice but afraid to cross baton it (which is how I am chopping off the pieces of the dowel I made).

One of my most treasured SETs (and all.my knives) is the stacked birch bark puukko and has made it into the rotation. I consider it my go to "camp fire knife" and will finish out the set with it. It may not be the most refined, sexiest, best steel, etc. But is definitely a favorite (Finnish heritage probably has a lot to do with it).

Not my SET, but I’m very fond of this one Brian posted on his instagram awhile back.

EDC elegance and utility perfected IMO.

Especially using a SET kydex sheath with ulti-clip.

If anyone of you owns this knife, I’d be interested in buying it at a very fair price.

I don’t mind if it has been used.

Don’t sell yourself Short my friend, it looks really nice to me.
Last time I tried to make a kydex sheath, it looked like a melted city road lol! It went straight in the trash.

You can even see the individual strands of the jute molded in. That is a good fit right there!

Just got this Giant Mouse Knives flipper today & wanted to pair it with it’s polished micarta cousin.
I can’t choose between matte or polished micarta, like them both the same!

“User” pic- never would guess this thing was new just a few weeks back. Still cuts like a laser, with minimal edge treatment.

Forgot I had this. Reallllly like it ; little over 6 1/4" in kydex sheath and totally handleable. able to do some heavier chores as well as small carving. Love the carbon fiber handle.

Man that Apache is absolutely perfect. Both knives are amazing though! Im guessing if you don’t keep them beauties covered, you can see the light from all your glow material from a few blocks over!

Thanks! Brian nailed it with the Apache model!
The glow on these knives is insane! This is just from about x10 seconds with a flashlight. Didn’t need to make the room dark either.

I’m a fan of the glow! Lol
