Thank you Sir!! Credit goes to Brian!!
Australian pine on Christmas tree round with an assist by the FPT/SET persian.
M3, JK and fire...
Today I went camping for the first time with my M1. It's a wonderful edge. Especially the tip work of M1 was Awesome. And eggplant was also delicious.
Pulled this out of my first aid kit and found some rust on it. Removed the rust and dropped it in some boiling vinegar. Pulled it out and saw all these cool subtle details of the steel. I love these knives.
Digging the knife, shelf and shelf contents....
Lost count of the growth rings on this old oak that was felled last year on our property...Genny 6 M3
Great pictures guys, thank you.
So far this Nitro V is excellent. This is the best edge I've come home with after a day in the Sespe. I can barely feel anything in two tiny spots with my finger nail. Still shaves. Non't think I've ever had any knife by anybody do that. Don't know if it's just the situation or if the steel is really awesome. I'm thinking it's pretty good.

i'll take it!
Made a belt attachment for my serechete.
From last week. Prepped some hearths by purple and pink candlelight for a daddy-daughter camp trip this past weekend . Thought I'd give the cedar heartwood a shot with yucca ... no dice.
Used a hatchet, M1, and flat quartz to fix up a packable cutting board.
I could not wait for my delivery and went to the post office 8 AM to pick up Serechete. But I can use it next Wednesday holiday. Lol.
Assisted with some inclemet weather fire skills training this last weekend. Here is the loadout that was used. Very basic but a couple of my finest tools were with me. Sorry no pics as those guys are skiddish around cameras lol. Seriously, next time I’ll do better and get some pics. We have another date set in April.
Kifaru E&E with assorted pouches, G2 role with Super Shelter kit, Mil poncho, Water bottle with cup, couple protein bars, FAK , Laplander saw, Serechete/PSK and M3BS.
Very nice! I need to try and make one!
Thanks for sharing
I tried Serechete at lunchtime. I was confused. If you have only Serechete, you do not need other knives. 2 inch Scandi is good at slicing and 1/8" convex can break hard wood with just tap lightly.
I can only say that it is wonderful and I can not wait for the next camp.
By the way there was fatwood in this pine, lol.
Nice pictures. That looks like some good fat wood too. Tie a chunk of it to a ferro rod striker.
Quick local trip on a windy day. M3 and my new GB taking care of fire prep duties.
Really enjoy using the latest gen M3, Brian is really fine tuning his craft...
Definitely. I haven’t used mine for food prep yet, so I made dinner with it last night and working on breakfast now.
Home smoked venison Kielbasa. Terrific knife..
Is that the knife from Brian Truex? That's one of the first knives I made.
I can’t remember who I picked it up from. It was on here. He had made the sheath and called it sub par, it’s not bad at all. Love it.
Nope, just some chili powder in the hash browns this morning.
There is a reason this bottle is still full!
Shoot, after that stuff you wont want hot sauce for years!
I like a little heat, not fire in a bottle..burn a hole in ya.
Love me some BBQ!
Daddy daughter time at the creek, hot chocolate, wild edible discussion, feather stick practice and matijilia...
Sargent Spearpoint Shaman shaving sticks on a snowy soggy spring Sunday...
Say that 5 times fast...
It is my greatest pleasure to split wood fine using a knife tip, but SP will be a great tip work. And awesome handle.
Here's one that hasn't been seen in a long time...and one of my favorite's.
Just posted this in it's own thread, but I thought I'd post it here as well.

@Sequoia Kid...your SET M3C spent the last few years in the Foot Hill's of the Great Smoky Mountain's National Park.
@rb40, Nice! That's a beautiful place to be for sure.
Brothers from the Red River...
@Phantom X, Those are really nice. This Rio Rojo is really some incredible stuff. I've had micarta knives before, but this old stuff has such a different feel to it.
making a birch log bird house

M1 in the orchard ...
Beautiful looking SET's gentleman!
The mail person delivered this little piece of goodness the other day. Picked it up from another forum member. My first thought was to age it like a bottle of wine, so I locked it in the safe. But it kept calling my name, telling me it wanted to go out and play. Not even 24 hours and I've already knocked the new and unused off it!
It’s spring primi- wake up...
Awe she looks... THIRSTY!!!
I don’t often get out and about but when I do, I don’t leave without a SET.
