Is there an easy free online calculator to project a new UTM waypoint from a known UTM waypoint? What I need to do is project a grid of waypoints on specific bearings at specific distances. I have searched on line but keep coming up empty. Perhaps I am not using the correct terminology when searching. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

This is about 90% of why I prefer MGRS... but an answer to your question is a map... an old fashioned paper map, with the grid on it. short of that, it's simple plane geometry. y=mx+b.

you can also cheat with a GPS.

    What exactly are you doing?

It is simple to do as you can use with polar coordinate to cartisian calculation or Great Circle calculation depending on the distance.
