Pumpkin Carving - Knife Selection

    It's pumpkin carving time in our household. I have always used bush knives to carve with. These include, left to right:

    1. Morakniv Companion MG - Stainless
    2. Normark - Fiskars filet. (44 years of fish filleting and pumpkin carving
    2. Morakniv - Carbon (Nephew donated)

    How about you? What's on hand in the kitchen? Or something more exotic. If you are reading this, most likely the latter, with abundant choices!

    I have a old broken blade from a coping saw set in a piece of wood. I can saw out a pumpkin all day long with those. I think you can pick them up in a cheap throw away version most Halloweens at the grocery store if you want to go for store bought.
