    interested in seeing how this plays out -- that's one I've considered picking up to throw in the truck kit, but it could also work fairly well as it sits with the addition of some ranger bands to cushion/insulate the grip area and add a little traction.

    I see someone adding scales to the handle to make it more comfortable. The drop forges look good.

    Add one smaller ferro rod into one handle groove and an oval wrap of wire and fishing line in the other. Both sets of stuff secured by wrapping the handle in the "Strider" style with paracord.
