It is, I live close to Yosemite and spend a lot of time there. Lots of snow this year. Hopefully it doesn’t stick around to long. I like to spend my off time at 9000ft or higher. Worried the snow mosquitoes are going to be bad this year.

    Take care, Matt

Wow that’s cool! How far up 120 you get from 395?

The picture looks more impressive than the trip. Long story, but we drove in during a storm intending to snowshoe out of Badger Pass area. A tree fell, took out the electricity there so they closed the whole glacier point road. Drove back to the valley only to find 120 closed because a ranger slid off of the road. Then headed to El Portal, got depressed because not much snow and headed back intending to camp at back packer's campground. Saw 120 was now open, drove to the area where they stopped clearing the road, got out, walked 50 feet, put up a tent. Trip was great because I had my 2 sons with me.

That is too funny. I snowshoed out of there, looks like the tracks have been covered up quickly :)

Yes, I can. For me, the low profile jimping along the spine makes that type of grip work better.

The top false edge is sharpened. I believe because it's designed as a tactical knife.
