    Greetings,

There's a thread dedicated to random outdoor photos and it's a great one to read through.

How about one for indoor photos?

My living room, with the designated exercise/bushcraft corner. SWMBO has a thing or two to say about that, so i try to keep it as tidy and clutter free as possible. :D

    Greetings,

A bit of bushcraft clutter that I promised to clear on my next days off...:rolleyes:

That bag is full of cedar wood shavings. Still haven't decided what I'll do with it, but i didn't want to throw it to the bin. My bucksaw is from cedar and these shavings were produced while it was being made...:33:
I am thinking of melting wax and turn it into firestarter bars...

And a not-so-innocent pile of documents on the dining table:

Me too. I started out with a 5 drawer lateral file cabinet then added 2 Rubbermaid tubs then ladder hangers for packs, all in the garage. I've got 2 boxes of knives in a dresser. It's no wonder I always forget something when I go out.

    My den/man-cave.

Too much stuff outa the bins, LOL. But, seeing I might plan things on a whim for now I'm leaving it out. Car camping gear is out in the shed.

I try to keep the place as outdoorsy as I can. I wait until I cant tell if Im tracking more dirt in, or out, before i vacuum. Same for dusting, the dust gives it patina. its also simple to dust by opening all the windows on a breezy day and using the air compressor to blow dust off stuff and it goes out the window in the breeze. Bachelor housekeeping. :)

I got a heck of a deal on that. I had a vice for a drill press I had gotten with a bunch of tools at a garage sale. A deal by itself. I got home and my neighbor saw the drill vice. He traded me on the spot for this one. ;)

Thanks, I love my little cabin. ive built several, this is the last one I did. Hoping to add on to it one day.

Yes, sort of a malamute, thats actually Stewart, he was a collie/malamute cross. He was a super sweet dog, a bit ditzy like collies can be. He was best buds with Molly, also in this pic. Theyve been gone a while, theres a new malamute hanging around now. Cant seem to keep them away.

    Greetings,

@Malamute, they are beautiful friends, both Stewart and Molly. They may be gone, but their friendship with you is forever.

I love dogs in general and malamute in particular. I had a malamute friend, Ru. I will definitely want to have the pleasure of getting to know a new malamute friend once I get to the right home with space enough. No reason to keep them away. :)

After losing a dog, I go to rescues, just to visit of course, and somehow another dog ends up going home with me. Cant figure it out.

Chester Lee is a chocolate lab / retriever mix. Not sure what kind of retriever. His head profile reminds me of a springer. All I know is, he's one heck of a smart, protective, loving boy. All 78 pounds of him. ( And, it ain't fat. It's solid muscle. )

No photos, but I sharpened up a half dozen knives today. Some just needed a touch-up after filleting some fish. One didn't even have an edge, but the steel seems good.
