My old flight suits or coveralls from my time in the Navy are as close as I would get to wearing a romper.

When I was still working, officially they were known as 'Black Kit' but we renamed them and knew them as ' Baby Grows' which I think was the commercial name for err...Rompers...:18: :18:

If you mean those coveralls Steve, Gryll's kit would have been much upgraded to later versions, which were (Perhaps still are?) made with a high " Nomex" content to make them flame/heat retardant. The kit I'm wearing in that photo was a cotton/denim type fabric which charred but didn't flare when struck by any sort of pyrotechnic sparks/flash.
Mr Grylls was about 10 when that photo was taken. :18: :18:

I used to have a pair of cut-off Key brand bib overalls & could don them and bring the house down after huffing helium and giving my rendition of the Lollipop Guild song/dance from the Wizard of Oz....

And he said, "Son, this world is rough
And if a man's gonna make it, he's gotta be tough
And I know I wouldn't be there to help ya along
So I put rompers on ya and I said goodbye
I knew you'd have to get tough or die
And it's rompers that helped to make you strong"

I can't believe this romper deal. Kind of makes me disgusted. I need some bacon to help settle my stomach.

OK, I will admit that I wore a NASA flight suit costume for my job last year. I did school and library programs in it. The costume was surprisingly comfortable in extreme heat. The kids loved it! (I was fully dressed underneath, fyi.)
14264146_1216430465065054_7987250995604853679_n.jpg I would also wear this with pride: Anovos Star Trek Deep Space Nine Voyager Starfleet utility uniform.png . I draw the line at shorts on my onesie. And these costumes really have nothing to do with bushcrafting...

I wore jump suits working on the ski slopes making snow and running the equipment , then I wore them in the boat shop during the winter shoveling snow and working in a non heated shop, later working on snow cats and laying in the snow on the under side of them , then while working in prosthetic manufacturing a full bunny suit head to toe bouffant and booties .
Moving bees around the place wearing the whole thing is worth while too.

But I draw the line wearing feminine fashions, especially in public .

If a man has so little respect for himself , At least you have the opportunity to see it up front, wearing women's fashions .

    Magalos,

To mis-quote Tim Allen from his show Last Man Standing, "everything you just posted makes me angry." What in the hell are those hormonally challenged bufoons wearing? Nope, never mind, I don't need an answer. And my children wonder why I drink.
