This past weekend me and 2 of my buddies went up to the San Pedro Parks Wilderness about Cuba, NM. I thought I would share a few pictures with you guys.

The hike really begins at San Gregorio Reservoir:

We ended up hiking until we reached the "Parks" as you wild edible folks know dandilion greens are edible although we didn't partake.

There were plenty of water sources available:

Here was the campsite we ended up at and how we cooked:

We did encounter some wildlife and some sign of some we didn't see:

    And just some "Spring" shots:

We all had a good time and plan on going back in the future. It's only about 2 hours from where I live.

Looks like a great trip, nice pictures. Did you do any fishing? I went up to Ruidoso this weekend but diden't get out in the woods as they are still closed, way to dry and extream fire danger. Glad you had a great time.

One of my buddies did a little fishing, didn't even get a hint of anything in the water. The "Parks" where plenty wet and based on the Santa Fe National Forest website no fire restrictions in the wilderness areas before we left.

Definitely nice pics. I wonder if that was a dog track or wolf? Looks like a great place to camp and work on some bushcraft skills!

Love a great photographer who shares a common thread as in this forum.

Sorry for such an old bump, figured the OP would like to know the photos were good.
