Bears can be quite intimidating even when mellow just by there shear size and hardware...

I'd love to experience what the man's experiencing, but bears are not pets!
I am wondering what is more disturbing; the fact that the bear is in a situation where he needs and accepts human companionship or the fact that the man treats him like a lapdog almost.

But a magnificent animal nonetheless and I am a tad envious..... knowing I'd never approach any bear, or any other large predator for that matter, this way.

The bear's head alone looks as big as the guy's whole body, and it's claws are longer than the tusks of a 300+ pounds wild boar I shot a few years back. Closest I ever got to that was finding a baby wild pig on Maui and raising her to maturity. She ate avocados every day so she got BIG real fast. She was jet black and had such a shiny coat from eating so much avos, and she was fat and healthy. Nowhere near as big as the bear but she still was 250 lbs., and she was downright scary when she got PMS once a month.
