Processing a little bit of fatwood for a fire kit. This was a good test for the edge, held up fine no rolls.

Took this thing outside for the first time today. Didn’t have my phone on me so no action pics. Battoned through some maple no problem. Also, a mole made the mistake of popping out when I was walking through my yard, and the Serechete made him into two pieces with ease. I have a bunch of big, heavier knives so will be fun to see how this one compares. So far, I like it.

Here is where mine gets stored.

On the back of my office door. I grab it whenever I am away from the computer..... which is most of the day, every day.

Where do you store YOUR challenge knives? Or SET's in general? :)

That might be the only one made like that at the front of the scale. Thought it was a good idea but a pain in the butt to do.

I have been doing a lot of Bushcrafting and wood whittling chores the past few days.
I will admit that I tried a few other knives for comparative purposes only in the same wood.
I must say that my Apache really stands out as being the best for the application that I was doing. I also noted that the Scandi grind excelled vs. The higher convex grinds in my wood whittling chores. I did try some other Scandi grinds in different steels in other knives. I really can't put it into words very well, but this SET Apache just works the best. Best feel for my hand, sharpest, best comfort, etc...
With that said, the other knives and grinds did well at other tasks. But that is for another day...
SET knives may not be as flashy or pretty as some other knives, but for the task at hand, THEY WORK!

pretty good test on @Sargent scandi edge going through frozen skipjack (for catfish bait) as well as the bones too, ZERO issues with the blade, no chipping no edge roll, still super sharp.
