Let me start off by saying, I LOVE this blade, and I hope it goes to a good home where it will be used and appreciated.

I'm auctioning off this blade in hopes of furthering my own knife making endeavors with the guidance of its creator.

I will be using all funds to purchase steel, abrasives, handle and sheath materials.

My only requirement to purchase is owning at least one SET. I'd like to keep this blade in the SET family.

This will be a silent auction and all offers should be sent as a PM.

I will let this run until next weekend and will update with the current high bid as it progresses.

    Current high bid: $800

    Thank you for the support.

Good luck man, wish I could get in on this with ya. Consider a kickstarter campaign? Might be a good way to bump the capital and fire on all cylinders. All the best!

Freaking beastly, I like the term quarter round. Is that terminology from fooring?

Could you list a blade length and thickness, please?

I think it's just geometry terminology...:)

    Or WSK terminology ...

Does the sharpened area on the back of the blade work for draw curls?

Yes and no. I did it with a chisel grind and that makes it bite really deep. Takes some control to keep the right angle.

What would be the main purpose of the sharpened back area? Any thoughts of giving it a different grind for draw curls?
