Got this one from a FB maker and it is 22 inches between the side rails and also uses a Bahco blade.
it is easy to carry, sets up fast and works but I do find myself taking my Silky bigboy more often as it just eats wood with very little effort. DSCN1143.JPG

I've been meaning to make one. Picked up a blade, but haven't gotten to it.

I like how the sides fold onto the blade for storage.

I think I bought this in 1985. A "Fast Bucksaw" in cherry. A Cliff Jacobsen design, it uses a threaded aluminum rod for tension.

it's nothing special....but this is my bucksaw. i actually used a dremel to shorten the saw blade to a better packable size. just some scrap wood i had around, and the joints are holes in vertical and cross pieces with dowels in them. i should probably try again with proper mortises at some point, but if it ain't broke...
