Hey guys. I'm looking for someone that can restore my great grandfather's slip joint. It's far beyond my skill level. It has 2 blades, but one was broken off long ago. If possible, I'd like to replace that blade as well.

    Thanks in advance!!

Don't know your budget. Don't know his prices. I have no affiliation but thought of him immediately.

MM is great to deal with. He has one of mine right now. It’s the second one I’ve sent him and he did a fantastic job on the first one.

Prices, IMO, are very fair. $37.00 shipped for a basic restoration.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the testimonial! Haven't gotten a chance to email him yet, but I will be doing that soon!

Ade, what did you have done?
I just emailed him about my slippies that need attention.

I jokingly refer to it as a “spa” treatment. Rust removal, deep cleaning, shine, lube and sharpen. He is capable of doing much more, but I tend to only buy slippies that are in pretty good shape to begin with. He uses my knife as an example of his restoration on his website. It’s the black handled Schrade whittler (I’m a sucker for the old Walden Schrades).
