We decided to get out on another day hike since we had such a nice day!

We hiked a small section of the North Country Trail that merged with River Trail in Cooks Forest State Park, PA.

    We found a big bug.

Found a nice spot along the Clarion to rest and take an apple juice break.

Much to her credit, Mrs. PACoureurDuBois carried the little princess the last 1/2 mile uphill. What a woman!!!

    Thanks for coming along!!!!

The main fire tower was locked, but Little Bug wanted to go up as far as he could. She took him up, cause Daddy has a slight issue with heights.:confused::confused::confused::confused:

So cool! Thanks for dragging us along with you. :)

My days with the kids and the lady were the best days of my life. Many is the time we hiked somewhere and had a nice blanket rest and snacks.

Keep up the good work and keep the pics coming. Love to see that.

I've been up that tower many times.
There used to be a white building, like a crypt or mausoleum, on the one hillside. You could see it from the tower. It always seemed out of place with no visible roads or trails leading to it. Just a bunch of trees covering the hillside.
