Haha, I'm always in trouble. I think it may be Donaldsonville he's trying to ID, if anyone was in that area right after the storm you may be able to verify my guess. I don't know if a fema camp was set up there

How well do you guys know St. Placqumines Parish? There is a school and cemetery I am trying to ID.

Also do you recall a town Danielson Danielsonville? Danelson? Donaldsonville?
We held up there for a night in an abandoned school.
The school was closed down due to being a superfund site contaminated with benzine.
According to our security brief it was supposed to be one of the worst drug towns in the US of A.

I am also trying to recall one of the FEMA camps we staged at.
Large circus tents everywhere, red and white ones, with govt 18 wheelers all over the place for ac and power.
I am guessing it was somewhere South of Batton Rouge and North of NOLA.

I must have had 4 disposable cameras filled with photos, they got xrayed on the flight black and only 6-10 photos survived.

10+ years years later and sleep deprivation while traveling can make the memory a little fuzzy.
    Trying to retrace my steps.
    Thanks for your help.
    Mike

There's a Donaldsonville SE of Baton Rouge, WNW of New Orleans.

Hadn't heard about the superfund site... but this is why I don't drink much water around here except in certain areas where I know it's rainfall.
