Yesterday Led Stroud has launched his own new network/website to serve up all of his existing content plus some new stuff or things that couldn't be aired on television and behind the scenes stuff. He also says he will be adding new content every month. It looks like it's a $4 per month subscription service.

He can explain it better than me:

It's nice to see him active again.

From what I can tell it's a website with streaming video on it and will contain his existing shows and new shows as well. Also clips, bits, instructionals and things like that.

I would not mind paying 4 bucks per month as long as it is more than old Survivorman reruns and was actually educational. I once subscribed to a bushcrafty youtube channel for 3 bucks per month that promised new educational videos each weekday. It was not so good in my opinion. I am ashamed! LOL

Same here. I did recently pick up a copy of his book Beyond Survivorman which is pretty good. Its not a bushcrafting book.

$4 to watch him over-dramatize his "survival" situations and play (badly) his harmonica! Nope! Not when uncle Ray is free on YT

For $4.00 a month I hope it won't be more Bigfoot stuff. I really liked his earlier seasons. I have seasons 1-3 on DVD and still watch them from time to time.

Love watching Les, but I don't like getting stuck in bad subscriptions. My fear is that it would start out great and then fall apart. I wonder if you could order it from time to time or would you have to renew again and again? That's something I might try.
