    Hi Folks

The last few years the Swedish vintage army gear struck a chord with me.
So finally when stocks where almost gone I ordered a used MK35 in Canvas (I like de-plastifying my life).
    It came in last week...….but...
It was a wreck. It was repaired probably 99 times. Stiching on one place was more then 10 inches. Also a strap was broken/loose (holding on to one thread) (frame atachment) with all comming loose. The frame was so battered there was more rust then painted steel in sight. Alu O/D ring broken. One missing.
Man I restored quite some packs, but this one….nah....especially because both the back webbing was also repaired like 9 times.

So there goes the canvas. I returned the bag, the options were 1. return money (great shop) 2. pay more, get a spanking new LK35 in Nylon with plastified inner.
I went for option 2 since I do not surrender too quickly and the salesman got me when he said he got 3 left out of 300. New in the box. OK! OK! I will get one.

    So it came in today.
    Very new.
    In the box.
Interestingly the bag is not made by Haglofs (bit of a setback but I can handle it.
The box says supplier: Litto Austria. (assuming it was not made offshore...nah not in '89)
    stamp says: Frab 89
The only info on Frab and Litto Austria is this link
    https://www.emedals.com/an-austrian-m43-style-gendarmerie-cap-by-litto-mutze-of-vienna

Maybe the company is defunk now.
So my question would be, does anybody has more info on this? DSC_0606.JPG DSC_0607.JPG DSC_0608.JPG DSC_0609.JPG DSC_0610.JPG DSC_0611.JPG DSC_0612.JPG

I think I have some Swedish bags made in Israel, and one made by a Swedish instrument company that otherwise have no outdoor products. It is Gov't contracting, but the Three Crowns is your mark of quality.

hi Ron! Yeah the colour is just fine (of this one). The canvas one had an old school lighter olive, but beautiful. No hard colour.
Indeed a shame for the company. I explained my wishes on the pack. Also (stated clearly) that I only wanted to pay that amount of money for a functional one. The guy promised to get me the finest one of the stock. If he had been honest we both would have saved time and postal money. But good I could return it! And this one is plastic but funtional.
I made a small hike with the dog yesterday, pack loaded. Wow bit of a disappointment. It needs work! I mean the quality is great but comfort...eh no.
Ron do you also have the Berghaus Munro in your collection? It is plastic but still my favorite for long hikes. (as is the bigger Vulcan, not original choice but best I ever had)

yeah a must so I found out! Hope I can find one. In Europe more rare...

Correct! They had quality standards. Still made in Europe :)
Chinese produced Berghaus, sadly I have to admit are awesome too. But that being said Berghaus needs to get back to Europe.
