    Official Swiss Army Thread

There is a lot of talk and pictures of Swiss Army Knives but not just one thread regarding them, so here it is.

Post pictures of your Swiss Army Knives here. Glamour shots, Action shots, the unusual and the common, singles and collections, shiny and dirty SAKs.

If you are here then you like Swiss Army Knife SAK eye candy as much as me, so this ought to be a great thread.

    Post what you got...

As soon as my trade blanket stuff clears, I saw something awesome to waste money on today - the Chinese Zodiac limited edition Huntsman! Double the price of a normal Huntsman, worth every penny.
These are a camper (my obstinate take on "the" SAK), a harvester and a few farmers. I don't use them, I just do photo shoots. The swimsuit edition's coming out this month.
Hope this thread takes off - we should do SAK challenges every now and again.
This mamajama just got passed on to member @PiperCub49 at the Maine meet-up this weekend.

Just got myself a OD Farmer to replace my blue one I sold a while back.

    20170206_175809.jpg

Then I had a bright idea, for when I EDC my Sargent Sespe why not add my Farmer to it?

Not the best pic, but with that SAK Camper Ive cut marshmallow sticks when I was a young Cub Scout, gutted dozens of fish and squirrel, fixed a power steering line on a Hummer in a combat zone, and recently taught my oldest daughter to use a knife to carve a pot hook. Plus a million other things. Hard to believe I never lost it in all these years, and it still functions like a new one.

Love the mods that have been done.
Carried a Huntsman since the age of 8 and I'm 51 now. Always have one in my washbag.
I like the Huntsman because of the corkscrew and bottle opener. My late father said those two get you invited to the best parties anywhere in the world, well that and good manners (plenty of booze, but everyone forgets the bottle opener... and you have one). Its true from my adventures as I've toasted many off the back of having a SAK, from sea level to tip top of mountains. I sent my son (gap year aged 19) on his around the world travels with one, and its still as true today.

I make up survival tins for the fun of it, always has a SAK.

DLT Trading has both Olive and Green Alox Farmers currently available at about $45 which seems to be the going price for the colors, if that's what you're looking for. No affiliation (other than the order I just placed for the Copper Alox to expand my collection).

I LOVE the red farmer. Such a beautiful knife! I have an "all red" on order from SwissBianco, but it isn't QUITE the same. If you are ever looking to get rid of that one (or have a source on the red with the normal shield), let me know!

I like the blue, know why I got the silver? Because if you carry or use it it's gonna be worn anyway, and I saved $15 on one that won't show wear. JMO

EVERYone and i mean everyone on my jobsite has some fast opening, thumbaction, quick deploy blade. i carry a FARMER. well, some guys mysteriously do not carry a knife. which being on a jobsite makes zero sense to me. i use it everyday. honestly, i use the flat blade most often to open sample cans. without a doubt, my knife is a razor. i handed it to some biologist to cut some of that orange barrier tangled around a tree..the first swipe, his eyes opened wide and he..dropped the f-bomb. i think it caught him off guard. he wants one now. that plastic fence stuff is tough to cut!!
