Must be something in your water, I love Mexican food, doesn't matter if it's Americanized or original south of the border fare, Up here in my part of the north east there are quite a few Mexican eateries that run from fair to great, including Taco Bell, there's a Taco Bell about two miles from my place, it took over from Jack 'n the Box about 15 years ago, it's become pretty popular and does a great business with the locals, including me, and I've never had any bad reaction to anything I've ever eaten from my local or any other area Taco Bell.

    Just saying.

I’ll pass. I avoid all the big chains. Yes, I understand the appeal to some folks. Tasteless junk in CA is exactly like tasteless junk in ME. I strongly prefer mom and pop.

Fuddrucker’s is an exception. I hit up Fudd’s at every opportunity. They have a killer turkey burger and their fries are exceptional.

    Taco Bell? Food?

Body filler, maybe. Very temporary body filler. Don't venture far from the porcelain throne.

They’re still in business here, at least the last time I checked they were. “Here” being the Houston area, which is closest to me. There were 5-6 locations.

YeAh, we still have Fudruckers in Houston too. I remember when they first opened in the early 80’s they had much better food. And I didn’t have to take out a second mortgage on our house to take the whole family out for dinner! I prefer the mom n pop burger joints now.

I probably eat more at Taco Bell than any other fast food place, which isn't too often anyway. I like it ok. When I was broke and could get two bean burritos and a drink for less than $2 doesn't seem that long ago, but it costs more these days and the fillings are thinner so you're eating more tortilla. I wish the Taco Bell here had fish tacos. Those looked good but they don't have them here.
