It's much like my Ontario RAT II in terms of construction, but a bit nicer and smoother. A 1/2" or so longer overall. Same price point. I need to get it out in the field and test it. Slash some tire sidewalls on a BMW that's parked too close to my truck at Wallymart, pick my teeth after a meal at Chuck-E-Cheese ... that sort of thing. EDC = Every Day Cutting.

Not by much, if at all. Some seemed to get them not long ago for $25. I figure $27. at present is neither here nor there. Same - same. There seems to be some good competition in the sub-$30 knife market. Actually nice stuff. I'll keep my $5 hand-forged Thai truck spring knives for knocking about the bush, but these are pretty slick. I'm happy with a few of the Walmart $3.79 pocket knives that I got on sale for $2 each, so don't read much into it.

Considering it's shipping Prime (from Tangram) plus Amazon's return policy, yes it's a good price IMO. $34-$45 on Ebay right now.

Very happy for $27. Thanks again OP.

In that price range the ruike gets consistently high marks too. So much so that I keep considering buying one just to see what the hubub is all about.
