    http://textfiles.com/survival/

Beyond the survival category are a multitude of files on subjects useful for the prepared mind.

I may upload a compilation to the media section of the blog as time allows.

Wow, textfiles.com is still around? That was all old BBS stuff. It started out as an 'archive' of BBS things, once that internet thing started to catch on.

Ahh, waiting in the redial queue for 110 baud noises....

I don't know anything more about him than what Wikipedia says, but I feel disinclined to trust his opinions based on his history. He doesn't seem to be a very solid, reliable kind of man.

I will stick with my inclination not to delve into the whole KS thing, however, I must also say that I have reservations about Wikipedia as a verifying source. I understand it is not acceptable as a citable source in academia, but appears to be used currently by some social media as a "final word" on "fake news." I find that troubling,,,but that is way off the original topic of the textiles data base which does contain some historically interesting information which may or may not be (currently) valid. (Wonder what kind of bush it was that I just damaged by beating around it?)
