Once when in Thailand on the Khao San Road, famous now amongst other things for its vendors of T-shirts both fake and funny, a guy was walking down the street, rather drunk, wearing a T-shirt which read "F@#k google, ask my wife, she knows everything"

    That tickled me that day.

Anyone else have a favourite t-shirt?

I once had a rather large adult student walk into my class on the first day who was wearing a shirt that read "I beat anorexia". Not sure if it's my favorite t shirt ever but it was hard to teach while I giggled internally.

Yeah, I agree, it wasn't really my favourite t-shirt but the response to it was memorable.

One of my own favourite T-shirts growing up was from a skateboard company, anarchic adjustment I think, had a picture of an old bus on it and said "going nowhere fast" in the destination.

That has always summed me up!

We prank each other fairly regularly in my house. If someone isn't razzing you, you're probably in trouble over something. Or you're just not liked. :18:

I bought one of these shirts for my wife : https://www.redbubble.com/people/ma...-let-my-friend-jack-off?p=womens-fitted-scoop

She acted all angry at me for it, but then laughed her tail off at my hurt reaction to her fake anger. In turn she bought me this: https://www.cafepress.com/mf/13673639/hello-my-name-is-jack-nightmar_tshirt?productId=69028217

One of my faves that I own:

I used to play a lot of biker gigs in a band. Saw a guy in a T-shirt that said:

    FUG
    DUP

Years ago I worked at a 4H camp. One week when the session was over the director got all excited about this one particular mother who would be showing up to pick up her kids. I asked why he was so hot to trot about this woman showing up at camp and all he would say is the family had a chicken farm and they sold a lot of eggs. He winked and said I'd understand later so I waited.

Well...he was correct. When this woman walked in, there before me was the most beautiful blonde haired Nordic beauty I'd ever seen; heck, even my wife said she was hot! She was properly proportioned in all the right places and it turned out that in spite of having two kids, going braless in her t-shirts were no problem for her. As she walked across the grounds of the camp I could make out that her t-shirt said something. When she got close enough I just about choked. There, well positioned across her chest were the words...GRADE A LARGE.

I still think longingly about that woman some days...:D

That's all for now. Take care and until next time...be well.

This is my favorite shirt, with me in it.

EDIT: This was in a town of 30, with 100 people in the bar. It was a hard job, but someone has to do it....
EDIT Again: I am not a jewelry guy, but that bracelet was from Idi Amin AK47 brass.

    That is classic.
Do you ever have people who don't know the song ask you about it?

P.s. the Grateful Dead used to cover it pretty regularly long ago.....

It's a mix. Sometimes people yell "GO MERLE", sometimes they make Deadhead jokes. Sometimes they say, "that's what my mom says, too". I never acknowledge, I just smile and nod.

EDIT: Some background? I went to Clarksdale, MS twice, to play in the Juke Joint Festival. I really like the blues. Even though I am a dorky white guy that can't dance, I did OK. Everyone there was wearing their 20 year old ragged Robert Johnson t-shirts, and their Son House hats as a badge of honor. I said "screw this", and spent $15 at a custom shirt shop and had this made.

At a Doobie Brothers concert, years ago, the guy next to me wore a T that said “Shmoov Dood”. And he was.
Saw a woman at the “Piney Woods Picnic” music festival wearing a T that said “Jesus is coming and he’s gonna be pissed”. Doc.

At a movie theater a few years ago a girl around 20 exited the restroom down the hall from me trailing a section of toilet paper stuck to her shoe. Her t shirt accurately proclaimed "I'm a dork"

My son is half Thai. He got a shirt embroidered something like "Assembled in U.S.A. from foreign and domestic components."

    Here's a t-shirt from a bar in Thailand.

    I cannot like this enough!
Soccer... a gentleman's sport played by ruffians.
Rugby... a ruffian's sport, played by gentlemen.

Soccer... only thing it's good for is maintaining your fitness for playing rugby.

    Rugby... no floppers in rugby.

    And... staying on topic:
Best T-shirt I ever saw, was at a Rugby tournament. It was an Old Boy's team, their shirt had their name and the slogan: "We may be old and slow, but we'll still f*ck your sister" (you almost need to be a rugger to understand this!)

I had seen a large girl wearing a shirt that said "I'm in shape...Round is a shape".

One T-shirt that I had seen, wanted, but could not find was one I seen someone wearing...it said "Blast From The Past" and showed a caveman getting knocked over from a wooly mammoth fart.

This reminds me so much of the 70's....
Remember when the whole printed t-shirt thing arrived?
There were shops doing the whole iron on thing..... with books full of choices.
    Weird..... is it coming back??

Back in the late 70s early 80s I worked with a man 55-60 yrs old, former pro football and professional boxer, his favorite t-shirt said "Age and deceit will win out over youth and talent every time"

We went to the beach one summer and my son got a free t-shirt at a restaurant - a family day. We had just moved to a new state, and in the late summer we enrolled him in a private school for second grade. My wife had to take him for an interview one day. When I got home, he was wearing that t-shirt. I asked my wife if he wore that shirt to the interview - he did. It said "Life begins at Hooters". Looked like this:

When I was a kid at the beach, I got a t-shirt that had this logo on it. Surf was up that year - up about a foot and a half, LOL.

In India, Dharamshala, a local guy had one on that said "success means never having to wear a suit".

I had to go up to him and shake his hand.

When I was in college, way back in time, I first became aware that soccer was a "big thing" to some folks. I guess there was a USA pro soccer league in the late 1970's or early 1980's. Anyway, a friend gave me a t-shirt promoting one of the teams.

"Tampa Bay Rowdies - Soccer is a kick in the grass"

Saw one with a grumpy geezer face...it said, "The more you complain, the longer God makes you live".
I know people who are working on immortal.

@Beach Hiker ... Still alive? Just like @isme says. It has never left any east coast tourist location that I have been to! From the TN Mountains to the Beaches. The kids leave me in these shops as I just read shirt to shirt hung on the walls as examples. They are good fun and really say something about your personality or thought process. Some are straight up crude now and not so subtle ... but like i said; it says something about you

I heard @isme is getting one that says "Where is my apple juice sippy cup?" ;) :4:

My Brother in-law got this for himself. It's perfect for him (minus the exceptional and handsome additions)
