    At Cape Jourimain, there is a small museum with an interesting exhibit about ice boats crossing between P.E.I. and New Brunswick to deliver the mail.

    People were so much tougher back then! Fall through the ice get all wet, just climb out, keep walking, wait for your clothes to freeze solid to block the wind lol. Cool post thanks for sharing this!

    the ice broke his hands
    . “Sucked him out of my hands into eternity “
    Wow what sissies we are now a days .

    I thought this was going to be about ice sailing boats . One of the fastest non powered forms of transport there is . Only problem is conditions only exist a few days a winter for them . I’ve got one which is great fun if you can get out on the lake on glare ice .
