That's a real beauty. Love that wood choice and the double sewn sheath really looks nice as well. Congrats to the new owner. Great job JD.

    Newly designed Forester
    Slight drop of the blade
Handle reshaped and lengthened to 4 5/8" to fit the hand better in multiple positions
Curve of the handle reduced, and handle height reduced

Wow! Those are a beautiful matching set. Someone is gonna be very happy!!!

What a the thickness on those two? Looks like the Sami is on the thicker end?

Both are 5/32" actually. Sami is just half the blade length so it appears more stout

Edit: if you are looking at the bevel height, I grind the Leuku with a more robust bevel since it is a chopper. In testing the bevel geometry holds up even when chopping through oak.

Brand new Cruiser model. Designed to be light and fast and inspired by the Opinel #8 this knife has a 4.25" handle and 3.25"blade. 3/32" O1 tool steel heat treated and cryo'd at Peter's to 59hrc. Flat ground with a secondary bevel. Green burlap micarta with natural micarta liners, pins, and tube. Going to be testing this prototype but I think it is going to be a performer. Thanks guys.
