Flashback: I was attending a weekend music festival in the 70’s. 3 old codgers (who were camping out of their pickups) were in a hot B&B session over who had the most kick-ass camping truck. I helped them load up when the festival was over.

Fast-forward 45 years: I attended a weekend music festival this past weekend and found myself engaged in a hot B&B session with 2 other codgers who were camping out of their hobo vans (as I was) and arguing over who had the most kick-ass mini-van.
Of course all three of us needed help from the young pups when it came time to load up.

Times change yet remain the same. Doc.

    Ok ,
When does my 12 year old Town and Country change from
    Soccer mom
    Status to Hobo van .

Hobo van sounds cooler that’s for sure .
My van however does have the delicate scent of riverleos soccer gear .
Grandpas got him signed up in. three different leagues so the mini van is sort of a locker room .

The weekend you swap out the grandkids smelly soccer clothes for your smelly dirt-time clothes is when it becomes a hobo van. You then must baptize the rear bumper with bacon grease and tattoo the upholstery with cowboy coffee. Doc.

Im not sure at what point "old" begins, but Im fixin to turn 59. When I run across others around my age complaining I just respond that getting old is the price you pay for not dying young.

I would like to see 59 again. Age is just a number, remembering to take your meds is probably a sign you’re getting old, as prior to being old you usually forgot to take them.

You’re also not ole if anyone refers to you as a sexy senior citizen, as opposed to a dirty old man.:4:

Just you codgers remember to use protection. For the last few years seniors were the demographic with the greatest increase of V.D. cases.
