Even though I'm working a lot cabin fever is slowly setting in so I took a ride to Byron via Andover. It was nice getting out and looking around.

    Some photos:

Nice pics, I spend a lot of time in spring through fall Gold panning/camping on the E .Branch off the Byron/#6 Rd. between the Canyon and Weld Center. Just noticed the crapper was the one at the canyon bridge across from the school house and sign was at the picnic area. I've left my DNA filled calling card there many times.

Thanks for sharing and great photos. That sign is great. Makes me want to head to one of those locations.

#6 road off Dingle Hill? I went that way but stopped due to road ice. Probably could have made it but didn't want to take the chance.

Never been that far in winter. Farthest I've gone in winter is up to the old cemetery near Batchelor brook from the Weld Center end and logging trucks were coming out from the Little Jackson trail area so I promptly turned around before I became a grill ornament.

Yeah I hear that! We used to think that years ago while riding the Reality Road outta Ashland. It wasn't much more than a two track back then and I swear the truckers were so used to it they took naps on the way out.

My concern was thinking I could make it all the way thru and end up being a story on the 6 o'clock news.
