I went to the national FJ Cruiser Summit in Ouray, Colorado this past week. @BigBubbaJ was there as well. Here are some photos I took there.

First pic is shortly after I brought her home, and next one was out playing in the snow.
Hasn't let me down once, always gets me into the woods and home.

Did you remove the bumper end pieces from your front, or did the trail? It give the truck a different unique look.

Here's my humble 95 4runner, paint and body are beat up but no rust (one good thing about being in Southern California for a few years). Has 253xxx miles and counting (just had engine rebuilt 5k ago), other than some heavy duty OME springs in the rear and 32x 11.50 tires shes pretty much stock. This is my 3rd yota 2nd 4runner and plan on keeping this one going until its no longer possible, I love this truck.

The trail took off one so I made the other match. I like it more without them on.

Hey all new guy checking in here. This is my 98 4runner. I'm working on my 2015 locked tacoma now. Picking up my ARB bumper and lift tomorrow. I pretty much live out of these rigs during hunting season. Oh yeah and can't forget my 85 which is getting a overhaul. These rigs are well used...

Stowe: Any problem with the weight of that tent on top of your fiberglass shell? Just curious as I didn't realize a shell could handle a load like that.

That A.R.E. shell has a reinforced panel in the top. We mounted the tracks with six bolts through that and then the Prinsu Designs Rack is bolted into the Yakima tracks. It slipped in the tracks once a few months after installation, but there's been no noticeable bowing or anything on the shell. It's been down some rough trails, and on the interstate without issue. The tent weighs a few pounds over 100 if memory serves.

Just picked this up last night. I've wanted one of these since I was 16 and finally made it happen. She will be cherry when I'm done with her.

#9, it's a 2015, bought the first one in 84. Never had one in for repairs.

    I recently got my FJ a brother - a 2016 Trail Edition 4Runner

This past weekend we took it on it's first off-road adventure, to the top of the 11,585' Georgia Pass.

Here's my Tacoma loaded for a long weekend of camping with my wife and some friends...

And then set up for sleeping, my wife and I sleep in the bed of the truck whenever we are car camping. Works great.

Well I just bought this "08" a few months ago. I gave my 19yo daughter my 97 Grand Cherokee. I need to replace the tires on it before hunting season gets into full swing.

Your truck looks just like my '04 Tacoma, but I don't have a tent on top of mine. My wife drives our red 2015 Tundra, except when its hauling our travel trailer when I drive it. We've had five Toyota trucks. Our daughter still has one of them and our son has another.

In August I had to spend two weeks in Las Vegas for a business trip, so I drove there and back instead of flying. 6 states, 6 national parks, plus Lake Meade and Nevada's Valley of Fire State Park. It was a great trip.

We're a mixed family right now. My wife is in the Wrangler (in the shop as usual), but I saw the light and traded my Rubicon for a stripped 2015 LC-76.

Its so sad that we can't get these real badass no nonsense SUV/trucks in America, instead we get the obese amalgamations of good suv/trucks that are designed to take obese people to the mall.
Sorry for the rant, I saw a new LC at work today dropping off kids and the parents clearly own the vehicle because it's a "luxury" 4x4 in case it rains.
But that LC is AMAZING, I want one. How much to shop it over here? ;)

I am moving back in 2017, but I can't ship it. :17: They need to be 25 years old before you can import them to the US.

But the specs on a 2015 LC76 are almost exactly the same as on an FJ62. 4.0L fuel injected gas engine, same wheelbase, height, width, length, payload, .... same digital clock in the dash. My plan when I get back is to find a clean FJ62, swap in a 5-speed, and enjoy. I have thought about finding some older ones here to ship back (the ones here are all LHD and typically have A/C), but I am not thrilled about having a 25-year old car that you can't buy parts for in the US.

Loved the jeep for a while. Only rig I will ever buy new, ordered it from the factory before I had seen the color in person. I only needed the full capability of the rubicon twice in 4 years. It was also bought pre children.

After four miles test driving the tundra it was a done deal.

Seems like the T100 was bad for rusting out, similar to the older Pickup beds.

That is awesome. I miss my old Toyota 4x4's. I just did a search "anywhere" on Autotrader and there's 16 total Toys out there for sale from 1986-1991. They are all about $2000-5000 more than I paid for my old '89 back in 1995! That '89 22RE was the best vehicle I've ever owned.
