Trammel forge attempt

    My father in law is into antiques and asked me if I could forge him a trammel. My first question was, "What's a trammel?" After a little research, this is what I came up with. It is a bit rough looking and maybe a bit too long, but it was my first attempt.

    I definitely learned something new. I was trying to get the punch bulges to be reminded side, but that didn't work. I think I need to punch the holes THEN drift instead of trying it all on one shot.
