My name is Rock. I live in Upstate South Carolina. I'm the National Coordinator for Mensa's Emergency Preparedness Special Interest Group; Preparation M: The Preparedness SIG.
http://www.PreparationM.com Our forum is at http://PreparationMForum.com

I am also in the process of creating Prepper Scouts. Prepper Scouts is currently a concept to combine the skills and benefits of scouting, bushcraft, and emergency preparedness for adults and families. http://kowulz.blogspot.com/2012/04/prepper-scouts.html I'm currently looking for contacts in the BSA and Outward Bound.

I'm a former police officer, soldier, and sailor. I enjoy sharing information and would like to meet other preppers in my area.

    Hi Rock,

I'm also new here. Just figuring out the board myself (make sure you don't post something in the wrong forum, I had a post removed today.)

I'm also in the upstate. This site is heavy on the bushcraft, light on the prepping/s**t hits the fan/end of the world side of things. But most people here seem to gantly nudge conversations and threads on prepping into the realm of bushcraft specifics.

There are a few on here from the upstate and more from the sandhills/lowcountry. We should all go for a camp sometime

    Hello and Welcome from Michigan.

Very interesting concept, I hope you keep us posted on your progress. We have a lot of Scouters on here but I am not sure if any are in a position to help you with this.... one might be able to point you in the right direction though.... Good Luck with it.
