Morning all! I picked up a folding stove yesterday while random buying at Wally world.. I have been thinking of buying one to go in my H2O kit I have been trying to load out. IMG_20180512_082115.jpg it was about $5 including tax. Also came with 8 full tabs. Initially I thought this dude was crazy heavy.. but turns out the full tabs weigh waaay more than the stove it's self. (This is my first solid fuel folding camp stove) IMG_20180512_091843.jpg kit is pritty straight forward.. folding stove and 8 rather large fuel tabs.. fits just right for my pouch.. IMG_20180512_091913.jpg thats it in the condor gadget pouch.
    Dimensions. 4 3/4" X 3 3/4" X 1 1/8" thick.
IMG_20180512_092529.jpg easily lit with a lighter... Took about 3min give or take from point I lit it to boiling.. IMG_20180512_092959.jpg then It happened... IMG_20180512_092652.jpg
Goat attack! She hadn't been paying me any attention and guess she thought I needed a good headbutt! IMG_20180512_092947.jpg one of my braws gave me a bag o tea to try out.. I won't tell his name but his initials are... @Primordial super good stuff smells fantastic while steeping and drinks just as good. IMG_20180512_093357.jpg This little stove done well I think, boiled my liquid in 3 minutes had about a 9 minute total burn time. After that it pritty much was done. While cleaning up I seen this lil inch worm.. thought it was cool.. IMG_20180512_093531.jpg just inching.. anywho! IMG_20180512_093434.jpg Turned out pritty clean after a burn. I didn't notice much twisting or warping in the metal where the fuel sit. I'll let y'all know how it looks after this whole pack of fuel tabs.. Being this is the only stove of this make I own. I can't compare it to any others.. This one did what I would need it to do and came with fuel which was cool. This little stove will do perfectly for my kit and for $5 That makes me happy! Hope it helps!

I'm surprised I don't have an Esbit stove yet.
Nice pics. Didn't know Wally World sold a version.

Esbit stoves are handy to have, didn't know Walmart sold a knock off wonder if they sell the tabs separate? No one local to me stocks them anymore but I never thought to check out Walmart.

I've bought a few ust items. Match case and map Compass. It's good stuff in my experience. By the way. I like the paracord shoulder strap on your bag. I made a belt once. A lot of work making them that long!:dblthumb:

The UST is larger than the Esbit...it is the same dimensions as the Brit Hexi stove.

I took a Fox copy and modified it to hold a Trangia burner. I had to trim the side supports (where it shows in the hole) so the burner would sit low enough to get approximately a 1" flame gap.

You can still use solid fuel with it by covering the hole with a tuna can lid or similar.
