Hey all. I was short on spending to get free shipping on Amazon. This was a "why not it's $3 purchase." The black line on the side is a firesteel. While small, a surprisingly good one, very sparky. The compass matched my map compass bang on. Waterproof and floats. Fits my Olight flashlight well. Signal mirror inside the lid. Whistle hurts your ears! Given my expectations. This thing is a heck of a buy!
    Cheers Jim

Nice! Finding anything worth owning for $3 is rare in my experience. Strangely enough Amazon.ca doesn't have the basic model in Orange. They have the version in the pic. Comes with storm proof matches.

I pack BCBs which come in an excellent container UNTIL opened. I was looking at Marble$$$ and the splendid K&M cases with future production in limbo with the families sad situation.

I figured you'd want to see someone putting it through its paces so you'd know what to expect :)
It seems like a nice functional multi use tool.

I did and I do. I did the spark, compass and watertight/float test. But that review was much more extensive. Thanks for the share!:dblthumb:

Back before I got a Prime membership I wonder how much money I spent bumping my order up to the $25 mark for "free" shipping!:p
