Video - Forging Damascus Core San-Mai

    Yesterday I forged some Damascus for the core of this Stainless jacketed laminate steel. Today, myself and Greg Cimms welded up and rolled out the laminate. Here is a small part of the footage.


    It is 1095 and 15n20 damascus core with a 410 Stainless jacket.

    Thanks! It is tight! It somewhat reminds me of hearth steel.
    Im glad that you enjoyed the video. It's a pain to play with the camera when you're trying to do work like that, but It's nice to have the footage.
