A co-worker came to me today to show me a knife that was his grandfathers. He wanted to know if I knew how old it was, or any history. I did not, but I took a photo and told him I would post it here to see if anyone could add to the story of his knife.
The blade of the knife is stamped "Buck Cutlery Co". Don't know if it is the same company we are familiar with today.
Interestingly it has a "peek hole" as the pivot pin. When you hold it up to the light and look into it you will see a picture of a partially clad lady.
Anyone have any info to offer?

Some of the French Laguiole companies like Laguiole Actiforge make the "ladies leg" version of these knives, but none with the peek hole; that's different!

Wow that looks old. It says "Buck Cutlery Co"?

    I couldn't find anything online.
